You can change your email address for login and correspondence in the case portal later on.
When logging in, you must remember to use the email address you were registered with the last time. Your password will stay the same until you ask for a new password.
Information security in the REC portal complies with guidelines from the Norwegian Data Protection Agency. Protection is via firewalls in several layers. Both login and all activities are protected using encryption.
Passwords are computer-generated according to specific quality requirements. Weak passwords are one of the most common causes of unauthorised access to systems. You can be sent an unlimited number of new passwords.
The level of access a user has to the portal depends upon the user's role.
External users only have access to information related to their own applications as well as applications for which the user has been allocated co-user access.
